UPSC Recruitment 2016 for 278 Junior Works Manager, Scientific Assistant, and Other Posts



    UPSC invited applications for recruitment to the post for Junior works Manager, Scientific Assistant, Anthropologist, Additional Assistant Director, and Assistant Executive Engineer. The candidates eligible for the post can apply through the prescribed format on or before 28 July 2016.

    Under UPSC Recruitment 2016, out of total 278 Posts, 181 posts are for Junior Works Managers, 02 Posts are for Anthropologist, 77 posts are for Senior Scientific Assistants, 10 posts are for Additional Assistant Directors, 01 Post is for Senior Assistant Controller of Mines, and 01 post is for Assistant Executive Engineer.

    Eligibility for Junior Works Manager: candidate should have Degree in Engineering/Technology in concerned Discipline from a recognised University/Institution or equivalent  OR  M.Sc. in Chemistry from a recognised University or Equivalent.

    Eligibility for Anthropologist:     candidate should have completed Master’s degree in Anthropology of a recognized University or equivalent with evidence of specialization in concerned field of Anthropology with 02 years’ research experience in the concerned field.

    Eligibility for Senior Scientific Assistant : Degree in Engineering in concerned discipline from a recognized University plus one  year  experience  in  relevant  field  from  a  recognized Organization OR Associate Member of Aeronautical Society/ Institute of Engineers of India with one year experience in the relevant field from a recognized organization.

    Eligibility for Additional Assistant Director: Candidate should have Degree in Engineering in concerned Discipline from a recognized University or equivalent with 02 years experience.

    Eligibility for Senior Assistant Controller of Mines: candidate should have Degree in Mining Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent with 05 years experience in a supervisory capacity.

    Eligibility for Assistant Executive Engineer: candidate should have  Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent or AMIE (Section A  & B) of the Institution of Engineers (India) with 02 years’ experience in supervisory capacity in installation and maintenance of internal combustion engines, generators, motor and other electrical machinery.

    Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) invited application for the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) Examination 2016. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their application on or before 08 April 2016. The examination is scheduled to be held on 26 June 2016.
    The Commission has initiated the application procedure from 12 March 2016 onwards (NOTICE NO.07/2016-CPF). The examination will be held for recruitment of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) comprising Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).
