Eligibility Criteria for UPSC Various Jobs:
Educational Qualification:
  • Economic Officer- Post graduate degree in Economics or Applied Economics or Business Economics or Econometrics from a recognized University/institute.
  • Examiner of Trade Marks & Geographical Indications- Degree in Law of a recognized University.
  • Managers (Mail Motor Service)- Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering from a recognised University/Institute.
  • Senior Scientific Officer Grade-II (Engineering)- B.E./B. Tech in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering from a recognized University.
  • Senior Scientific Officer Grade-II (Gentex)- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/ Metallurgical/ Textile Engineering from a recognised university.
  • Senior Scientific Officer Grade-II (Military)- B.E./ B.Tech in Chemical Engineering / Technology or Master’s Degree in Chemistry from a recognized university.
  • Specialist Grade-III Assistant Professors (Orthopaedics)- A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or the Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).
  • Specialist Grade-III (Obst. & Gynae)- A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or second Schedule or part II of the Third schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).
  • Specialist Grade-III (Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation)- A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or the Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).
  • Assistant Director- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised University with Hindi as one of the compulsory subject or with Hindi Medium OR Bachelor’s degree from a recognised University with Hindi as one of the compulsory subject at 10 +2 level.
  • Deputy Mineral Economist (Intelligence)- Master’s Degree in Geology or Applied Geology or Economics or Degree inMining Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent.
  • Assistant  Executive Engineers (Electronics)- Degree in Telecommunications/ Electronics Engineering/Electronics and Communications Engineering from a recognised University or equivalent.
  • Assistant Director Grade-II (Technical)- Degree in Textile Manufacture/Textile Technology of a recognised University or equivalent.
  • Lecturer in Mathematics- First Class Master’s Degree in Mathematics with First class or equivalent at Bachelor’s or Master’s level from a recognised university.
  • Lecturer in English- First Class Master’s Degree in English with First class or equivalent at Bachelor’s or Master’s level from a recognised university.
Selection Procedure for UPSC Various Jobs:
The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of interview/exam conducted by the commission.
