West Bengal Police invited application for recruitment to 1149 Junior Constable posts. Interested and eligible candidates can apply on or before 08 April 2016 (Birbhum District) & 11 April 2016 (Paschim Medinipore, Bankura and Purulia District).
A massive vacancy of 1149 Junior Constable posts has been declared by the West Bengal Police; 659 vacancies in the Districts of Paschim Medinipore (including Jhargram Police District), Bankura and Purulia and 490 vacancies in Birbhum District. Applications are invited from candidates with a minimum educational qualification of Class VIII pass recognized Educational Institution and residing permanently in the districts for which applying. In addition to meeting the educational qualification, candidates must also be in the age limit of 18-27 years.
