General ability section contains 150 questions in which Part A English will have 50 and Part B General knowledge will have 100.
Candidates will get 4 marks each for the correct answer of English and -.133 for the incorrect one.

On an average each subject or topic contains the question in exam however the percentage of question on each topic may fluctuate year by year so it is recommendable to work on each topic because clearing just two sections and ignoring other will not help to pass the written examination. Priorities can be set on the topics to make it strong at the first.
Hope the given information is useful for the preparation because this will not only help you to prepare but also tell you to focus on the each subject or topics. Be it any competitive exam it’s not easy to crack it until and unless candidates prepare with time fixation. Just practicing Mathematics formulae or gasping English rules will not help it has to be done in fixed time frame. Gone are days when people think that hard work will pay off just by marking the option as you need to be smart as well to know how much each section requires time. As you cannot be lucky every time because it contains negative marking too.
