South Central Railway has notified recruitment for 2030 posts of Women Constables in RPF and RPSF wherein; 1827 posts are reserved for RPF and 203 for RPSF. Candidates are called in the pay scale of PB-1 Rs. 5200-Rs. 20200+Grade Pay Rs. 2000/-
All the interested candidates who are matriculate from the recognized board or university or equivalent are eligible to apply to the post. The age bar for the candidates is 18-25 years.
The selection procedure for the post is through written examination which will be conducted after scrutiny of the applications received. The written examination would be on OMR based answer sheet which will comprise of 120 multiple choice objective type questions of one mark each. The test will be of 90 minutes duration. After the written examination, the selected candidates would be required to go through the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and document verification.
The candidates, who are willing to apply to the post, can apply through the prescribed format along with other required documents on or before 01 March 2016.
